Today's Blog is new recipe "PALAK KOFTA CURRY". An Indian curry with the koftas and that also with my healthy twist who wouldn't love it... So here's the Palak KOFTA Curry recipe with detailed photo and written recipe..

Full Recipe: PALAK KOFTA CURRY
Cook Time: 30-40 mins
Servings: 4 Servings
Cuisine: Indian
Nutritional value: Kofta made of Palak and paneer is full of taste and nutrition. Spinach is a great source of vitamins and paneer gives the calcium and protein. And gravy along has veggies and dry fruits with magnesium, potassium, calcium and more.
Now let me tell you it's Nutritional content-
Calories- 300 kCal Carbs- 10 g
Protein- 15 g Fat- 11 g
Fibre- 3 g Sodium- 871 mg
Potassium- 560 mg Calcium- 40 g
Iron-15 g
INGREDIENTS
Koftas- 10- 15
Oil- 2 tsp
Ghee- 2 tsp
Cumin- 1 tsp
Bayleaf- 1
Cardamom- 2 pods
Ginger chilli paste- 1 tsp
Garlic- 6 cloves
Onion- 1 (finely chopped)
Tomato pulp- 2 cups
Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
Turmeric- 1/2 tsp
Cumin- powder- 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder (coarse)- 1/2 tsp
Fennel powder- 1/2 tsp
Cashew paste- 1/4 cup
Salt- 1 tsp
Garam masala- 1/4 tsp
Pavbhaji masala- 1/4 tsp
Water- 1 cup
STEP BY STEP RECIPE
1. Heat Oil and Ghee in a kadhai, add Cumin, Bayleaf, Cardamom. Let Cumin crackle.
2. Add Ginger chilli paste, Garlic and Onion, saute until Onion gets translucent.
3. Add Tomato pulp, mix and cook until oil separates.
4. Now add the spices (red chilli powder, turmeric, fennel powder, cumin and coriander powder). Mix everything well.
5. Now add Cashew paste and combine all properly.
6. Now add salt, garam masala, pavbhaji masala and cook.
7. Now add water and balance consistency.
8. Cover and cook for 10 mins.
9. Add Kofta, mix and cook for 5 mins. So Kofta absorbs the curry.
10. Sprinkle coriander and finally serve with paratha or roti..
