Full Recipe: GOBI KOFTA
Cook Time: 30 mins
Servings: 4
Cuisine: North Indian
Nutritional value: New Northindian snack Koftas, very highly ordered in restaurants but today it is different because here we have made Koftas using a vegetable that we usually don't like to eat. Gobi/Cauliflower is mostly underrated but it's highly nutritious, because cauliflower is high in fibre, antioxidants and thus helps in wt. loss. And it's really easy to add to Everytime diet.
Now let me tell you it's Nutritional content-
Calories- 218 kCal. Carbs- 18 g
Protein- 5 g Fat- 18 g
Fibre- 2.6 g Sodium- 230 mg
INGREDIENTS
Gobi/ Cauliflower- 20 florets
Potato- 1 1/2 cup (boiled)
Besan- 1/4 cup (roasted)
Red chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
Ginger chilli paste- 1 tsp
Cumin powder- 1/2 tsp
Garam masala- 1/4 tsp
Pavbhaji masala- 1/4 tsp
Chat masala- 1/2 tsp
Coriander- 2-3 tbsp (finely chopped)
Cornflour- 2 tbsp
Salt- 1/2 tsp
STEP BY STEP RECIPE
1. In a large mixing bowl, add grated Cauliflower and mashed potatoes.
2. Now add roasted gram flour/ Besan.
3. Add the spices (Red chilli powder,Cumin powder, along Garam masala, Pavbhaji masala and Coriander). Combine spices with key ingredients.
4. Add salt and again combine everything well. Then add the binding agent, cornflour.
5. Again bind everything into a smooth dough.
6. Now with oil greased hands, make small ball sized Koftas and place it onto baking dish.
7. Then bake the koftas.
8. Serve the hot Koftas with curry, ketchup or chutney.
