Full Recipe: GOBI KOFTA CURRY
Cook Time: 15 mins
Servings: 4
Cuisine: North Indian
Nutritional value: Newness in Northindian Curry with addition of Koftas that also made of Cauliflower, that can easily be made at home. Nutrition in cauliflower is known, but when combined with creamy tangy tomato gravy will become more nutritious.
Now let me tell you it's Nutritional content-
Calories- 118 kCal. Carbs- 9 g
Protein- 5 g Fat- 9 g
Fibre- 1.3 g Sodium- 120 mg
INGREDIENTS
Koftas- as required
Oil- 1 tbsp
Ghee- 1 tbsp
Bayleaf- 1
Cinnamon- 1" piece
Cloves- 3
Cardamom- 2 pods
Cumin- 1 tsp
Chilli Ginger paste- 2 tsp
Onion- 1 (finely chopped)
Turmeric- 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
Cumin-Coriander powder- 1 1/2 tsp
Garam masala- 1/4 tsp
Pavbhaji masala- 1/4 tsp
Salt- 1 tsp
Tomato pulp- 1 cup
Water- 1 cup
Cream- 1/4 cup
Coriander- 2 tbsp
STEP BY STEP RECIPE
1. In a deep pan, add oil and ghee and let ghee melt.
2. Add whole spices- Bayleaf, Cinnamon stick, Cloves, cardamom pods along Cumin.
3. Now add Onions and Ginger chilli paste. Saute until Onion turns translucent.
4. Then add the spices- Turmeric, Red chilli powder, Cumin-Coriander powder, Garam masala, Pavbhaji masala.
5. Now saute until spices cooks.
6. Add the Tomato pulp/ puree and salt. Saute and mix all spices until oil separates.
7. Add water to get proper gravy consistency.
8. At last add Cream and Coriander and mix properly.
9. GOBI KOFTA CURRY is ready, can be as it is or could serve along tandoori roti.
