Full Recipe: SABUDANA VADA
Cook Time: 30 mins
Servings: 4 Servings (20 vadas)
Cuisine: Indian
Nutritional value: Sabudana Vada is a healthy and tasty snack with nutrition. This vadas are quick to make and tasty to eat. Sabudanas are high in good carbs, protein and fibre. But low in fat.
Now let me tell you it's about Nutritional content-
Calories- 40kCal. Carbs- 5g
Protein- 1g. Fat- 1g
Fibre- 2g. Sodium- 300mg
Potassium- 70mg. Vit A- 3mg
Calcium- 10mg. Iron- 1mg
INGREDIENTS
Sabudana- 2 Cups
Water- As Required
Potato- 4 (Boiled & Mashed)
Peanuts- 1 Cup (Crushed)
Ginger chilli paste- 2 tsp
Cumin- 2 tsp
Coriander- 4 tbsp (Chopped)
Salt- 1 tsp
Lemon juice- 2 tsp
Oil- for deep frying
STEP BY STEP RECIPE
1. Take Sabudana in a large bowl, add water and let Soak for 3 hours.
2. Now drain off the water from Sabudana and let rest for about 30 mins.
3. Take Sabudana in a mixing bowl.
4. Now add boiled mashed Potatoes, crushed Peanuts and bind all well.
5. Now add Cumin, fresh Coriander, Salt, Lemon juice. Mix everything well.
6. Form a dough like mixture.
7. Now take a ball sized mixture and flatten slightly to prepare tikki or Vada..
8. Deep fry the vadas at medium flame, until golden brown.
9. Now the Sabudana Vadas are ready, Serve Hot..
