Full Recipe: FALAFEL
Cook Time: 7-8 hrs
Servings: 3 (15 falafel)
Cuisine: Indo-Arabian
Nutritional value: Falafel an Arabian originated street food recipe but here with Indian twist and taste, makes it healthier. Falafel's main ingredient chickpeas, makes it more nutritious as it contains many micronutrients, good fibrous and proteinitious source. Chickpeas are environment friendly legume and thus known to be a super food. Here this super food with other spices will come out to be a super healthy tasty food.
Now let me tell you it's Nutritional content-
Calories- 233 kCal. Carbs- 32 g
Protein- 14 g Fat- 18 g
Fibre- 5 g Magnesium- 20 g
INGREDIENTS
Chickpeas- 1 cup
Onion- 1 (finely chopped)
Garlic- 5-6 cloves (finely chopped)
Ginger Chilli Paste- 2 tbsp
Coriander- 1/4 cup (finely chopped)
Chilli powder- 1 tsp
Turmeric- 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder- 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder- 1/2 tsp
Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
Chat masala- 1/2 tsp
Salt- 1 tsp
Lemon juice- 1 tbsp
Cornflour- 3-4 tbsp
Oil- for brushing
STEP BY STEP RECIPE
1. In a large vessel, take Chickpeas and wash it twice.
2. Soak the Chickpeas for 6-8 hrs.
3. After 8 hrs, drain the water from chickpeas and blend it coarsely.
4. Now take the blended chickpeas in a bowl.
5. Add chopped garlic, onion and coriander. Then add Ginger chilli paste and mix properly.
6. Now add the spices (chilli powder, turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder, Garam masala, chat masala and salt).
7. Then add lemon juice and cornflour.
8. Mix everything and form a dough. Now make balls out of this dough.
9. Apply little oil on these balls using brush and bake for 20-22 mins at 180°C.
10. Serve hot after baked with green chutney or tomato ketchup.

So nice.. but I had knowledge that Falafel is Mexican Recipe
