Full Recipe:         

Cook Time: 15 mins

Servings: 2 Servings (16 Pieces)

Cuisine: Gujarati

Nutritional value: Besan used as main ingredient in Khaman, has more good fats & more protein than wheat flour. And as steamed not fried also beneficial for people looking for wt lose.

Now let me tell you it's Nutritional content-

Calories- 115 kCal.             Carbs- 11 g

Protein- 4 g                          Fat- 6 g

Fibre- 2 g                             Sodium- 328 mg

 

INGREDIENTS

Besan- 1 cup

Rava- 2 tbsp

Citric acid- 1/2 tsp

Fruit salt (Eno)- 1 tsp

Salt- 1/4 tbsp

Sugar- 1 tbsp

Oil- 2 tbsp

Water- 3/4 - 1 cup


STEP BY STEP RECIPE

1. in a mixing bowl,take besan, rava, citric acid, fruit salt, salt, sugar.

2. Mix all the dry ingredients properly.

3. Now add oil bind oil & dry ingredients.

4. Add water little by little and form a khaman dhokla batter.

5. Now in a greased plate pour the batter & steam for 15 mins.

6. Check by pricking a knife.

7. Knife comes out clean, Khaman is ready.

8. Serve hot & enjoy at anytime meal.
